Itinerary

DAY 1: HANOI – SAPA - FANSIPAN PEAK BY CABLE CAR (LUNCH)

 

06:30 - 07:00 Depart from Hanoi to Sapa by Limousine van (Approx. 5.5 hours via highway).
12:30 Arrive in Sapa town. Check in to your hotel and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
14:00 Your driver will pick you up for a transfer to the Fansipan Cable Car Station.

  • Experience the world-record three-rope cable car system. The 15–20 minute journey takes you from the bottom of the valley to the highest point in the region.
  • As you ascend, enjoy the breathtaking aerial views of the Muong Hoa Valley, the Hoang Lien National Forest, and the landscape of Lai Chau province.
  • Reach the summit of Fansipan Mountain (3,143m). Spend time exploring the spiritual complex and hunting for clouds at the "Roof of Indochina."
Late afternoon Transfer back to Sapa.
Evening Free time to explore Sapa town, the stone church, and the night market. Dinner on your own account.
Overnight Stay at the hotel in Sapa.

 

DAY 2: OFF-THE-BEATEN PATH TREK: SA SENG - HANG DA - HAU THAO (BREAKFAST & PICNIC LUNCH)

 

Morning Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
09:00 Start the day with a short drive out of Sapa town to the starting point of the trek.

  • Follow a small trail uphill for about 2 hours towards the Den Thang range.
  • Upon reaching the top, you will be rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view of Fansipan Peak and the stunning Muong Hoa Valley below.
  • Arrive at Hang Da Village (1,800m above sea level), home to the Hmong ethnic minority. This high vantage point offers one of the best views in Sapa, often surrounded by clouds.
Noon Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst nature.
Afternoon Continue the trek to Hau Thao Village.

  • Walk through the village to observe the daily life, traditional customs, and unique costumes of the Black Hmong people.
  • The trail continues downhill to Giang Ta Chai village, offering peaceful scenery away from the tourist crowds.
Late afternoon A car will meet you at the end of the trek and transfer you back to your hotel in Sapa.
Evening Dinner on your own. Overnight in Sapa.

 

DAY 3: TA PHIN VILLAGE - HERBAL BATH EXPERIENCE (BREAKFAST & PICNIC LUNCH)

 

Morning Have breakfast at the hotel. Check out.
09:00 Travel by car to Ta Phin Village, a unique location where two ethnic groups, the Black Hmong and the Red Dao, live side by side without mixing their customs.

  • Take a walk around the village to see the distinct differences in their architecture, clothing, and way of life.
  • Interact with the locals and visit their traditional houses to gain a deeper understanding of their culture.
Mid-day Experience the famous Red Dao Herbal Bath.

  • The locals boil a special collection of fresh and dried plants and bark in a giant wok over a charcoal fire.
  • Soak in a wooden barrel tub in a private bathhouse. This traditional therapy is known to wash away aches, pains, and fatigue—a perfect way to relax after days of trekking.
Lunch Enjoy lunch before departure.
Afternoon Your private van will transfer you from Ta Phin back to Sapa town to catch the limousine.
15:00 - 15:30 Depart for Hanoi.
21:00 Arrive in Hanoi. Tour ends.
